Hi, I’m Beka! I am a mother of three beautiful children—twin 10-year-olds and an 8-year-old. I’ve experienced firsthand how transformative and deeply personal the journey into parenthood can be. Each of my births was different, and each one taught me something new about my body, my strength, and the importance of support. Those experiences lit a fire in me. I knew I wanted to one day be there for other parents the way I wished someone could have been there for me.
When I discovered what a doula really is—someone who offers emotional, physical, and informational support during pregnancy and childbirth—I felt a deep calling. It wasn’t just about helping people give birth. It was about helping them feel seen. I signed up for training, began soaking up everything I could, and slowly started building my practice with heart, honesty, and the wisdom that motherhood has given me.

The deeper I get into this work, the more I feel it aligning with my long-term goal: to one day become a midwife. For me, doulaship isn’t just a profession—it’s the foundation of that bigger dream.

My role is to listen more than I speak, to hold space rather than rush in. Sometimes, it’s a gentle word. Other times, it’s just being present. What I’m beginning to understand is that birth is not something to manage—it’s something to be respected.

Birth can be unpredictable, and having a calm, familiar face in the room makes a difference. I believe everyone deserves to feel heard and supported during birth—not rushed or judged.
I’m also passionate about helping partners feel involved and confident. Doulas don’t replace partners—we empower them to support, too. Everyone in the birth room deserves to feel strong and connected.  I’m taking it one family at a time, one birth at a time—showing up with love, presence, and open hands.
