I am a mother of 2 beautiful home birth babies, Charlotte (3yo) and Owen (1.5yo). I have a supportive husband of 7 years, who is an RN. We are both Fresno natives, but grew up in small towns to the east and west.

I earned my BA in Early Childhood Education in 2012 from Fresno Pacific University. After graduating I taught preschool, I nannied, and opened a daycare. I opened my licensed in-home daycare in 2019 and cared for 3 babies, all under 1 year old. I learned through these experiences just how much I love caring for others. I’m looking forward to not only care for babies now, but for mothers as well!

The journey to motherhood is unique for everyone. My own birth stories showed me how incredible our bodies are and how important the right support is. Having a midwife and doula created such a sense of safety and love that surrounded my birth and postpartum periods. I also learned that no matter what type of birth you have, the postpartum time is delicate. Who you surround yourself with and what planning you do for that time is critical.  I am grateful to all who I had at that time and I now want to give that back to other mamas and families.

I instantly fell in love with who my doula and midwife were and what they did for me. I want to educate and hold space for families. I want to foster a feeling of community. I want to be the doula that I had, who has since become a best friend- which led me to deciding it was time get my doula certification. I completed my certification with Fresno Birth and Baby in November 2023. I look forward to putting my training to good use and blessing families with the gifts and talents God has given me.
