While I am a native to Southern California, I made Fresno my home almost 10 years ago. I now happily reside in a 1920s bungalow with my wife, Carley, in the historic Fresno High neighborhood.
I studied choral music and English at both Fresno City College and Fresno State, then graduated with my Bachelor’s degree in English in December of 2019. During the pandemic, I spent time thinking about my next step in life. After reflecting on my love for children, my fascination with pregnancy, and my years of experience with nannying, I decided to enroll in a doula training program through DONA International and LOVED it!
Since then, I finished my doula certification with Fresno Birth & Baby and have begun my career as a Birth and Postpartum doula. Now, I am studying to become a Lactation Education Counselor through UC San Diego to further assist families with breast/chest feeding. I am eager to serve families of all kinds in the Fresno area, with a special appreciation for LGBTQ+ families and families undergoing IVF.
