I am a Fresno native and I’ve been married to my amazing husband, Zacary, for 11 years. We have three beautiful children- Orion (9), Nova (6), and Caspian (2) – the youngest two were born at home!

I felt the call to birth work after I had my first child in 2015. When he was six months old, I trained and got certified as a birth and postpartum doula, and began working several months after that when we moved back to the Central Valley from the bay area.

Since then, I’ve had the privilege of supporting over 80 families on their birth journeys, and about 30 postpartum families as they transitioned to parenthood.

My call to birth work deepened in 2020 when I started a midwifery program at Mercy in Action College of Midwifery. I completed the program in May 2024 and received a B.S. in Midwifery. I will soon be taking the NARM licensing exam and starting my practice as a licensed midwife in the central valley.

I absolutely love what I do, and since 2021 I’ve had the opportunity to train other women to do this important work. Fresno Birth and Baby began a doula training program to expand our scope in the valley and reach as many people as possible. It has been incredibly rewarding to get to know the past 6 groups of trainees, and I am excited to see what they will do in the future.

I love to support families as they grow and change- it is a privilege to be invited on their journeys each and every time.
