I am a mother of two beautiful home-birth babies, Charlotte (5) and Owen (3.5). My husband and I have been married for nine adventure-filled years, and his work as an RN is such a gift to our family. We’re both Fresno natives who grew up in small towns on opposite sides of the valley.
I earned my BA in Early Childhood Education from Fresno Pacific University in 2012. After graduating, I taught preschool, worked as a nanny, and later opened my own licensed in-home daycare in 2019, caring for three infants under one year old. These experiences deepened my love for caring for others.
Working closely with the mamas of the babies I cared for showed me how vital community is when raising little ones—I truly love community. Motherhood is a unique journey for every woman. My own birth experiences taught me how incredible our bodies are and how essential the right support can be.
Having both a midwife and a doula gave me a profound sense of safety and love throughout my birth and postpartum periods. I learned that no matter what kind of birth you have, the postpartum season is tender—and who surrounds you, and how you prepare, truly matters. I’m deeply grateful for the support I received, and I feel called to offer that same support to other families.
I fell in love with the care my doula and midwife provided and how they held space for me. Their presence inspired me to do the same for others. I want to educate, support, and build community for families. I want to offer the same nurturing care that my own doula—now a dear friend—gave to me. That inspiration led me to begin my doula journey 2.5 years ago. I look forward to every opportunity to bless families with the gifts and talents God has given me.
