I was born and raised here in Fresno. I have been married to my amazing husband for fifteen years, and we have four beautiful children. I am a homeschool mama, doula, and photographer.

I began my photography journey fourteen years ago and quickly realized that pregnant mothers and newborn babies were my favorite subjects to photograph. After having my own births documented, I saw what a gift it was to have images of my labor experience and the moment I met each of my precious children. Every pregnancy and birth is so unique and deserves to be captured.

My first two children were born in the hospital and after a few years of secondary infertility, I became pregnant again which resulted in a second trimester loss. For the first time, I had a doula who supported me through that late term miscarriage, which was such a blessing and was instrumental in beginning my journey toward becoming a doula myself.

At 36 weeks in my next pregnancy, I chose to transfer from a hospital birth to home birth with a midwife and her student who had been a doula with Fresno Birth & Baby. I then went on to have a doula friend with me at my home birth with my 4th child. Feeling the deep care and reverence these women had for me, my birth experience, and my baby showed me how invaluable it is to have women’s support in the birth space.

I have had hospital births, home births, high risk pregnancies, infertility, miscarriage, and pregnancy after loss. I have witnessed firsthand the need for community in birth. I am passionate about supporting mothers and their partners in their journey through pregnancy, birth, and postpartum, walking alongside mothers who have experienced miscarriage and loss, and capturing the beauty in every birth story. What a beautiful thing it is to have women supporting women as they bring new life into the world!
