My name is Danika Baza, and I am a wife and seasoned mama of four with a deeply rooted passion for supporting women through pregnancy, birth, and the postpartum journey. My personal path into birth work began long before I officially became a doula—it grew from years of lived experience, professional dedication, and a calling to nurture families during the most transformative seasons of their lives.

With a background in Early Childhood Development and a degree in Child Development, I spent years working in preschools before opening my own large, in-home daycare. There, I cared for twelve children ranging from infancy through kindergarten. I cherished watching families grow, witnessing the unique ways parents evolve, and holding space for the earliest chapters of childhood. Even then, I found myself especially drawn to the pregnancy, birth, and postpartum periods—times of profound change, vulnerability, and strength.

As my own family grew, each of my birth experiences inspired me to seek deeper understanding, more knowledge, and greater empowerment. I wanted to experience birth with clarity, intention, and confidence. This desire eventually led me to doula work. After completing several trainings and certifications, I realized that my passion extended far beyond my own pregnancies—I felt called to help other women discover their power, their voice, and their innate ability to bring life into the world.

For the past three years, I have served families from San Diego to Fresno County, as a birth and postpartum doula. My intention is to support mothers as they connect with their strength, their intuition, and their unique path.

I also understand that a mother’s journey does not end with the birth of her baby. The postpartum period is a sacred and vulnerable time—one where support, rest, and gentle guidance are essential. I am committed to holding space for new mothers as they transition, adjust, and embrace the powerful identity of motherhood.

Every family I meet, every birth I witness, and every mother I support continues to affirm why I do this work. I am honored to serve my community and grateful to walk alongside the women who trust me during one of the most meaningful experiences of their lives.
